DISMEMBER THE ALAMO Was A Night to Remember!

The lineup was amazing. The first film of the night was NIGHT OF THE CREEPS (1986) staring the red-blooded resolute stud: Tom Atkins. The film is delightfully 80’s and is about an alien experiment gone terribly wrong, resulting in slug-like brain parasites who enter  through the mouth, turning dumb jocks into bloodthirsty zombie-like incubation stations who happen to invade on the night of the Formal… sort of. Unconventional conventionists: Haunters Recap and Looking Forward to Bizarre AC

Dixie Dellamorto and Mr. Lobo had a great time at the National Haunters Convention this past weekend. You could tell they worked hard to make it even better this year. The San Francisco Bay Area in 1971: Vietnam War protests and bell-bottomed trousers were in the streets, and on television a bespectacled gentleman in a yellow rocking chair, cigar in hand, declared the movie not worth staying up late for.
